Who are we?

This site is the result of an idea Madeleine had quite some time ago. She is a very handy person, loves to create objects, recycle things, and she decided to create a platform where people like her could present and sell their creations. She then developped the idea further and finally launched this website in October 2008.

Madeleine is a French woman who is now living in Holland for 8 years. She is married with a dutch guy and has 2 small daughters (2 and 5).

Although they are very different, the suppliers presenting their work here have a lot of common. They are designers, artists, or have a complete different professional activity. They have a gift and ideas to create and invent new objects. They recycle (wood, cardboard, eggshells and more), they create new objects, which are uniques pieces or produced in small quantity. They are produced directly by the designers for most, or in Europe by another company (for instance the linen designed by Baleine rouge is produced in Lyon - France). It is therefore fair trade. Their designs are unique and you won't find them anywhere else. 

The products we present are all on stock, in some cases we can produce more and with a different colour, on request. For the paintings obviously we always have one...
